The Asian Food-themed Dessert Recipe Ingredients 1 cup almond milk, softened 3 tablespoons maple syrup 3 tablespoons coconut oil 1 tablespoon coconut flour 3/4 cup coconut sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons rice vinegar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1 tablespoon honey 2 large eggs 1 cup strawberries, sliced 3 tablespoons powdered sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla extract For the filling: 1 cup strawberry puree 1/3 cup sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/6 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground cloves 1 tablespoon milk 2 tablespoons coconut milk Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
Combine almond milk and maple syrup in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add coconut oil, coconut flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until it thickens.
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in the coconut milk and vanilla, and pour into a bowl.
Using a pastry blender, blend together the strawberry purees and sugar.
Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
Combine egg, strawberries, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and honey.
Pour into the bowl and stir to combine.
Transfer to a serving bowl and add the remaining ingredients.
Sprinkle the strawberries evenly over the batter.
