If you’ve had a pet allergy and want to help others with their allergies, consider joining the American Pet Products Association’s Allergy-Free Coalition.
The AVPCA was founded in 2003 as a consumer advocacy group focused on helping pet owners with pet allergies.
Now, the organization has more than 1,000 members and works to spread the word about allergy testing and other pet products.
The AVPAC has been instrumental in spreading the word for pet allergies among pet owners in the U.S. and abroad.
The group has partnered with pet food manufacturers to distribute a variety of products to help pet owners understand their pet’s symptoms and determine if their dog is allergic.
The organization has worked with pet store chains to distribute pet allergy testing kits to pet owners.
“We know that a lot of people are not aware of their pet allergies, and there’s a lot that people don’t understand about pet allergies,” said Amy Saucier, AVPA senior vice president and president of marketing.
“And with our Allergy Free Coalition, we’re trying to educate people that pet allergies are not something to be ashamed of, but something that people can work towards.
We’re going to work to get people to understand the facts.”
