The biggest food events of 2017 were food networks, food shows and other entertainment shows.
Here are the top events in Australia in 2018.
The Food Network – Monday, July 14 at 7.00pm ET The Food Show Network (FSN) launched its own digital series The Food World with its first ever event: the Food Network Food World Championships.
With events like The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 and The Hunger Game: Mocked and Loaded, and more, it has established itself as one of the world’s most trusted food networks.
The event is being held in Australia at the same time as the Oscars, and will be broadcast on FSN Australia, FSN UK and FSN South.
The Game of Thrones – Tuesday, July 15 at 8pm ET Game of Throne (TOTW) has become the biggest food show on TV, with over 30 million viewers tuning in to see Daenerys Targaryen’s coronation.
This week the show was also filmed at Adelaide’s Adelaide Theatre, the same venue as Game of War: Battle of the Bastards.
The events include a free event in the Adelaide Public Library and the launch of the ‘Game Changers’ brand.
The Hunger Gag Awards – Wednesday, July 16 at 7pm ET After a year of filming at the Adelaide Theatre in Adelaide, the series will be moving to the Adelaide Convention Centre.
The food chain’s Food Network Awards are expected to draw some of the biggest stars from the food industry, including Victoria’s Tania Scales, who is set to guest on the event.
The stars have not been announced yet, but it’s safe to say the big stars of the industry will be there to witness the event live.
The Golden Globes 2018 – Thursday, July 17 at 7:00pm PT In 2018, the Golden Globessas were held in the same building as the Emmys and PGA Tour.
This year, the Emperors new home will be the National Theatre in Canberra, with the Golden Globe Awards live broadcast at 7am on Friday.
Game of thrones – Tuesday October 16 at 8:00am PT Game of the Thrones will be making a triumphant return to Adelaide this year with its sixth and final series at the National Concert Hall.
A special dinner for the production will be held, and the awards ceremony will be televised live on HBO.
Oscars 2018 – Friday, October 17 at 8am PT Oscars is back for its seventh and final time, and we can’t wait to see who’s in attendance.
The show will be hosted by the stars of HBO’s hit series Game of The Thrones, which will also be on the ABC this year.
The special dinner will be at the Sydney Opera House and the Oscars will be streamed live on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s digital platform.
Food Wars: The Ultimate Guide to the Food Industry – Sunday, October 26 at 8.30pm ET With the launch in 2016 of the Food Wars series, the industry is set for a massive transformation.
With more than 60 events a year, food networks have become the most important events in the industry.
Food Networks can now include a host of new and popular food brands, including the world famous Frito-Lay, and they have been producing more than 40 food events per year since then.
Food shows have also been expanding their programming in 2018, with many of the best shows from the past year showing up for the first time.
Game Changers – Tuesday September 12 at 8PM PT The Food Changers series has been airing since 2013, and now has over 100,000 episodes in total.
This will be a huge event for the industry as they launch a new brand, The Food Chain, and it’s a chance for fans to meet and learn from the most successful chefs in the world.
Frito World Championships – Tuesday March 31 at 8AM PT The Frito Changers Series was originally set to launch in the United States in 2019, but the event has been postponed until 2020.
This event will be played at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Adelaide with a free entry to the event for those who show up. 10.
Game Show Changers: Superbowl 2018 – Wednesday April 11 at 8 PM PT The Superbowl has been played annually in Australia since 1996.
It’s the biggest game in the country, and features some of Australia’s biggest stars including Victoria Premier Jay Weatherill and former Melbourne FC coach and Socceroos captain Matt McKay.
The final game will be aired on ABC TV, and there will be live entertainment.
Super Bowl XLVIII – Sunday April 25 at 8 pm PT Super Bowl XXXVIII is set in the city of Inglewood, California, and has a Super Bowl-style finale.
